Part of the Spring Harvest '21 Batch

It is known that here at the glade, we do not necessarily stick to one specific style of music. What matters to us is what speaks to us in a visceral way. Cloudling was an absolute surprise for us last year and we knew that it needed a home here. “Empty of All False Dreams” is a meditative yet dynamic amalgam of folk and drone music perfect for these days of snowmelt and blooming trees--as the days begin to get longer and longer. Within this album, there is this really beautiful juxtaposition between the synthetic sound of synthesizers droning away and the organic sound of a variety of acoustic instrumentation, from mandolin to hammered dulcimer to percussion. Dylan Bloom, the mind behind Einsamkeit tapes and a number of fantastic projects, has created a real treasure here, along with Michael Korchonnoff (novemthree, Alda, Ekstasis) on the track “A Dream of Loss”. This is a gorgeous album with so much to offer and we are honored to give it a home here among the glade.
